Course Description
The USCG Recreational Boat Regulations certification course was developed in partnership between ABYC and the US Coast Guard Recreational Boating Product Assurance Branch. The course outlines the minimum federal requirements for new recreational boats manufactured or imported for sale in the United States. The course takes candidates through the steps involved in a typical Coast Guard inspection at a boat manufacturer or dealer, and provides guidance for complying with the regulations. Upon successful completion of the exam, candidate receive a Regulatory Specialist certification.

Certification Requirements
To earn the USCG Recreational Boat Regulations Certification, participants must take the certification exam with a proctor, and pass the comprehensive certification exam.
