The Hornor Maritime Center will be closed to private events/ rentals until March 1, 2024, due to construction. Event inquiries will reopen Spring 2024, we look forward to seeing you next year!
From birthday parties to baby showers, the Hornor Maritime Center can host up to 75 guests, not including support staff (i.e. caterers and bartenders). Enjoy retirement parties, business meetings, rehearsal dinners and weddings in this beautiful space.

Jack Hornor
613 Third Street was dedicated the “Hornor Maritime Center” in honor of Jack Hornor, a dear friend of ABYC. Jack was a naval architect, a marine surveyor, and a mentor to many in the marine industry. He celebrated life on the water as a sailor, with a passion for education passed down from his parents. The ABYC Foundation offers students interested in a marine trade’s education financial assistance through a memorial fund in honor of Jack Hornor.
