Hosting an in-person classroom course involves various considerations to ensure a conducive and effective learning environment. Here is a list of requirements and considerations:
- Interested party is required to have a Organization-level membership or above.
- Physical Space:
- Classroom Size: Ensure the classroom is spacious enough to accommodate the number of participants comfortably.
- Seating Arrangement: Arrange seating in a way that allows for clear visibility and easy movement.
- Accessibility: Ensure the classroom is accessible to participants with disabilities.
- Equipment and Facilities:
- Desks/Tables and Chairs: Provide sufficient desks or tables and chairs for all participants with 2 people per table.
- Projector and Screen: Set up audio-visual equipment for presentations.
- Whiteboard or Flip Chart: Have a space for visual aids and interactive learning.
- Good Lighting: Ensure the room is well-lit for optimal visibility.
- Climate Control: Maintain a comfortable temperature in the classroom.
- Technology and Connectivity:
- Internet Access: If needed, provide a reliable internet connection for online resources.
- Power Outlets: Ensure there are enough power outlets for participants to charge devices.
- Registration and Sign-In:
- Registration Desk: Set up a registration desk for participants to check in.
- Name Tags: Provide name tags for easy identification.
- Logistics:
- Parking: Ensure there is adequate parking for participants.
