This Interactive Online Electrical Certification Fast Track course is a mix of blended learning with on-demand & LIVE sessions.

ABYC Instructor Ray Toth will lead LIVEcourse sessions, 3 days a week for 1 week (each 120 minutes long).


On-Demand Learning Study Guide Review for Chapters 1-4:

·       To be completed before LIVE sessions start.

·       Online learning component covering chapters 1-4. NOTE: these chapters will not be reviewed during the LIVE sessions

·       Chapter review questions


LIVE Online Course Schedule: 9:00am – 11:00am EST each day, Tues-Thurs

·        December 8-10


LIVE Course Sessions:

·        Each LIVE session with cover chapters 5-14 in chronological order of study guide

·        Q&A with instructor at the end of each session

·        Recordings of each session are available the next day for 30 days post-course!

    Certification Exam Testing:

    At the end of the live webinar sessions you can take the Marine Electrical Certification exam online; you can take a proctored test one of two ways…

    1. Testing online through an online proctoring service, ProctorU (computer/laptop with a webcam is required)
    2. Testing online at your local library

    Upon signing up for this Interactive Online Electrical Certification course, let Casey Bates (cbates@abycinc.org) know which proctored testing option you prefer and I will provide more information.


    Certification Destinations:
    ABYC has created certification designation titles to better associate the type of work being done by the individual.

    Advisor Certification or Technician Certification titles will be assigned upon passing the certification exam.

    ADA Requests
    Students with ADA accommodations must inform the ABYC in writing of said needs at the time of class registration to ensure that any special accommodations can be made for exam taking. Students may use a calculator during the exam.

    Requests for cancellation and refund of a class registration must be submitted, in writing, no less than 10 days prior to the course start date. A $150 cancellation fee will apply. Refunds will not be considered for non-attendance. Cancellation requests may be emailed to Casey Bates at cbates@abycinc.org. Refunds will be issued within 30 days after the course end date.
