Why you should be an ABYC member?
If you build, maintain, survey, or repair products for the marine industry and are not a participating ABYC member, a vital piece of your industry knowledge is missing. Membership gives you immediate access to over 70 ANSI certified industry standards. ABYC members know what boat building and boat repair standards to follow to help keep their costs down and customer satisfaction high. Boat surveyors, OEM’s, boat builders, service technicians, military, and anyone in the marine service sector, and those who care about boating safety should be members of ABYC. Bottom line is ABYC Membership shows your customers that you care about their safety and overall quality of their day.
Members join and support ABYC not only to access the current Standards but also to learn what new standards are being considered, and how it could affect their business in the next 2-5 years.
The role of ABYC is to be the essential source of technical information for the international marine industry. We develop product safety standards, credentialing, education, training, and other tools to equip our members to be successful. Everything we do will support our members to achieve the goal of making boating safer.
